Tony Linka - Technical Illustrator

I've made a number of site updates including to my Dodge Challenger rendering. For this image I wanted

to take a crack at merging my 3D model into a photograph. I learned a lot going through the process and

hope to work on projects like this in the future. I have a shot breakdown that can be viewed in my demo

reel above.

I recently got another opportunity to work with John Wiebe of Cambre Products on a aisle display for the

Brick. I can't wait to see it in store!

This was the first multi-lingual website I've worked on to date. I must admit, I found it challenging to work

with content I couldn't understand but in the end it all came together very well. Once again, I'd like to thank

I tried something a little different to light the gift set in this scene. I originally planned on using Mental Ray's

image-based lighting with an HDR image but wanted to keep my render times down. So I went with a

three-point light rig (with Final Gather turned on), which looked great but there were no reflections on the chrome.

So I created a giant sphere (visible only in reflections) and applied a photo to it. This gave the chome material the

relections I was looking in less than a quater of the time. Many thanks to Jennifer Frivalt, this was a great project!
